Nach zwei Jahren des pandemiebedingten Online-Konferierens findet die weltgrößte kommunikationswissenschaftliche Konferenz, die Jahreskonferenz der
International Communication Association (ICA), nun wieder größtenteils in Präsenz statt. An drei verschiedenen Event-Locations in Paris werden die Panels abgehalten. Einige ausgewählte Präsentationen können auch virtuell verfolgt werden.
Das Thema „One World, One Network‽” soll dazu anregen, die Kommunikationsforschung über Globalisierung und Netzwerke neu zu denken. Das Sonderzeichen in Form der übereinander gelagerten Frage- und Ausrufezeichen ist der Versuch, die suggerierte Einheit der Welt bzw. des
einen Netzwerks sowohl zu würdigen, als auch zu problematisieren.
