Datenschutz und Medienbildung – (k)eine Utopie?

"Medienpädagogischer Küchentalk" organised by FSM and GMK with Dr. Stephen Dreyer and other guests in the Museum for Communication in Berlin, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

We want to bring media education, politics and society in a relaxed atmosphere into the discussion and debate current issues of digital education. The Medienpädagogische Küchentalk #3: Datenschutz und Medienbildung – (k)eine Utopie? [Media Education Kitchen Talk #3: Data Protection and Media Education – A Utopia or Not?] takes place in cooperation with the Museum for Communication Berlin. As it is well-known, the best conversations take place in the kitchen. In an open atmosphere and, above all, at eye level, topics that shape the daily lives of families and friends are discussed in a sociable atmosphere. Everyone is equal here - no matter what position, age or attitude.

We would like to use this relaxed atmosphere to discuss exciting challenges of media education, politics and society and to debate current issues of digital education. Interesting guests, controversial opinions, critical moderators will be present. There will also be the possibility for the audience on site and via livestream to actively participate with their questions and contributions. Everyone has a place at the kitchen table with their questions, critical remarks and attitudes.

The medienpädagogische Küchentalk is a joint event organised by the German Association for Voluntary Self-Regulation of Digital Media Service Providers (FSM e.V.) and the Association for Media Education and Communication Culture (GMK e.V.). Together, we would like to use this relaxed atmosphere to discuss exciting challenges of media education, politics and society and to debate current issues of digital education.
