The seventh workshop of the Netzwerk Medienstrukturen concentrates on the role of actors for shaping and transforming media structures. Assuming that the actions of individual as well as organisational and further corporate state and non-state actors (e.g. associations, interest groups) have a key role in shaping media structures, the submitted publications present not only theoretical but also empirical work, which focuses on the meaning of actors for shaping media structures.
