Podcasts im Journalismus – Must-have oder Nice-to-have?

Is the podcast a serious competitor for print journalism? Discussion event for students of the Institute of Journalism and Communication Studies (IJK) on 20 November 2019 from 6 p.m. organised by the student council of the master's programme ‘Journalism and Communication Studies’ at Universität Hamburg and the HBI. With Nele Heise (media researcher and consultant for digital media and communication), Max Rauner (editor, ZEIT WISSEN) and Linus Günther (Product Manager Audio at G+J Medien GmbH).

Journalists and editors are on an innovation course and are constantly introducing new media forms and strategies to keep their industry alive. The daily news podcast is experiencing an incredible rise. Based on it, media houses have developed a number of other formats and use podcasts for documentary, fictional and advisory purposes.

We welcome you at the library of the Leibniz Institute for Media Research (Rothenbaumchaussee 36, 20148 Hamburg) on 20 November 2019 at 6 p.m. The discussion starts at 6.30 p.m.

- Max Rauner (Editor, ZEIT WISSEN)
- Linus Günther (Product Manager Audio at G+J Medien GmbH)
