Matthias C. Kettemann will take part in the panel discussion on "Geht’s nur ums Geld? Wie wir das Metaverse demokratischer machen können" [Is It All About Money? How We Can Make the Metaverse More Democratic]. In a moderated discussion, experts from the fields of law, philosophy and design will deconstruct the future of the metaverse in its economic, legal, social, and cultural dimensions. They discuss the following questions: Who designs for whom? Which ideas of the future are transformed into code? How can rules be better designed in these new communication spaces? Where do the data, raw materials, labour come from - and how can they be managed fairly?

Participants: Dorothea Winter, Matthias C. Kettemann, Niels Jansen, Isabella Hermann.
