With the new Cybersecurity Strategy from December 2020, the European Union (EU) seeks to prevent, deter and respond to cyber incidents in Europe. However, the Union leaves confidence- and security-building through EU cyber diplomacy towards third countries largely underexplored.
Against this backdrop, the panel will discuss how the EU can enhance its cyber diplomacy and what its transatlantic implications are.
