A Guide to the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2019

A Guide to the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2019

At the end of November, the United Nations Global Internet Governance Forum (IGF) comes to Germany for the first time. Following the motto “One World. One Net. One Vision”, researchers and politicians from all over the world will discuss the central legal, political, social and technological questions on the internet.

At such a busy conference it is not so easy to get an overview of all the events. The Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) and the Leibniz-Institute for Media Research | Hans-Bredow-Institut (HBI), which are represented by researchers at the Forum, collected the most interesting events between the 25th and 29th November. Your can find the recommandations on the blog of the HIIG.

A special note applies to our event "Many Worlds. Many Nets, Many Visions: Critical Voices, Visions and Vectors for Internet Governance", which will take place as an accompanying event on Tuesday, 26 November 2019, at the HIIG in Berlin!
