Abstract
"For a very long time, politics has stood by while platforms accumulated huge amounts of data. For far too long," says Dr. Matthias C. Kettemann of the Hans-Bredow-Institut. The researcher and expert on legal issues concerning the internet sees a good chance that major platforms will go along with EU regulation. When it comes to details, he can still imagine improvements to the planned regulations.
