Öffentliche Kindheit in Elternblogs?

Öffentliche Kindheit in Elternblogs?

In parent blogs, people give an insight into their everyday family life and thereby also affect children's rights, especially with regard to privacy and informational self-determination. The article by Dr. Jan-Hinrik Schmidt published in the journal merz - Zeitschrift für Medienpädagogik presents the findings of a survey of German-speaking parent bloggers. It illustrates the extent to which the specific form of publicity of parent blogs can conflict with the protection interests of children, especially when dealing with personal information and advertising.
