Abstract
There are "treasures" in the archives of the public broadcasters that need to be unearthed. This or something similar can be read again and again. However, in the case of the Siegfried Lenz project, this quickly became very concrete. Unnoticed audio documents, completely unknown broadcasting manuscripts, a rich fund of editorial correspondence - all this came to light during the intensive research. The explorations in databases, in archives of written material, sound and television are dedicated to Siegfried Lenz (1926-2014) and his extensive literary work. They already show: The well-known storyteller and novelist was a “media professional” par excellence.
