Algorithmic recommendation systems in public service programmes are generally reasonable and justified, but it strongly depends on its design. This is the conclusion of the study "Algorithmic Recommendations. Functionality, Meaning and Peculiarities for Public Service Broadcasters". The findings have now been published in the journal 'Medien Perspektiven [Media Perspectives]'.
