{"id":2499,"date":"2024-07-01T12:28:50","date_gmt":"2024-07-01T10:28:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newws.leibniz-hbi.de\/?post_type=hbi-employee&#038;p=2499"},"modified":"2024-07-04T10:51:51","modified_gmt":"2024-07-04T08:51:51","slug":"joan-kristin-bleicher","status":"publish","type":"hbi-employee","link":"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/employee\/joan-kristin-bleicher\/","title":{"rendered":"Joan Kristin Bleicher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since September 2007, Joan Kristin Bleicher has been a full professor at the Institute for Media and Communication Studies at <span lang=\"de\">Universit\u00e4t Hamburg<\/span> and an associate staff member of the Leibniz Institute for Media Research \u2502 <span lang=\"de\">Hans-Bredow-Institut<\/span> (HBI).<\/p>\n<p>Her interests emphasise the areas of media aesthetics and history, theories of narration, contemporary literature and foundational research on the Internet. From the summer semester 2001 onwards, she has held a professorship in the Germanic Institute at <span lang=\"de\">Universit\u00e4t Hamburg. From spring 2002 until autumn 2007, she held a joint professorship in \u201cMedia Studies\u201d at the <span lang=\"de\">Hans-Bredow-Institut<\/span> and <span lang=\"de\">Universit\u00e4t Hamburg<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Prof. Dr. Joan Kristin Bleicher studied German Language and Literature, American Studies and general literary criticism in Giessen, Bloomington\/USA and Siegen. She obtained a doctorate at the University of Siegen and worked from 1986-1995 in the special research area no. 240 of the German Research Foundation \u201c<span lang=\"de\">\u00c4sthetik, Pragmatik und Geschichte der Bildschirmmedien. Schwerpunkt: Fernsehen in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland<\/span>\u201d [Aesthetics, Pragmatics and History of the screen-based Media. Special Emphasis: Television in the Federal Republic of Germany].
