He\u00a0has studied and conducted research on the knowledge order of digital media, on copyright and the knowledge commons at <span lang=\"de\">Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin<\/span>, Tokyo University, <span lang=\"de\">Humboldt-Universit\u00e4t zu Berlin<\/span> and University of S\u00e3o Paulo. Most recently he taught at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ifm.blogs.ruhr-uni-bochum.de\/index.php\/english-version\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/ifm.blogs.ruhr-uni-bochum.de\/index.php\/english-version\/\">Institute for Media Studies<\/a>\u00a0at Ruhr University Bochum (May 2020-February 2021). Prior to this, he was a Fellow at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cais.nrw\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.cais.nrw\/\">Center for Advanced Internet Studies<\/a>\u00a0(CAIS) in Bochum (April-September 2019) and led the research project\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/digitale-grundversorgung.de\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/digitale-grundversorgung.de\/\">&#8220;Public Service Media 2.0\u201c<\/a>\u00a0(2012-2015) at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cdc.leuphana.com\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/cdc.leuphana.com\/\">Centre for Digital Cultures (CDC)<\/a>\u00a0at the Leuphana University of L\u00fcneburg, which examined the future of public service media.<\/p>\n<p>He has led of the conference series\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wizards-of-os.org\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/Wizards-of-OS.org\">Wizards-of-OS.org<\/a>\u00a0and of the copyright information portal\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/irights.info\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/iRights.info\">iRights.info<\/a>, co-founded\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mikro-berlin.org\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/mikro-berlin.org\">mikro-berlin.org<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/privatkopie.net\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/privatkopie.net\">privatkopie.net<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/compartilhamentolegal.org\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/CompartilhamentoLegal.org\">CompartilhamentoLegal.org<\/a>, is a board member of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/digitalegesellschaft.de\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/digitalegesellschaft.de\/\"><span lang=\"de\">Digitale Gesellschaft e.V.<\/span><\/a>, a member of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/c-base.org\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/C-Base.org\">C-Base.org<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.c3s.cc\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.c3s.cc\/\">C3S.cc<\/a>\u00a0and also blogs at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/vgrass.de\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/vgrass.de\">vgrass.de<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Photo: \u00a9 Leuphana \/ Birgit Brinkhoff-M\u00f6genburg<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":15,"featured_media":1380,"template":"","categories":[],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2970","hbi-employee","type-hbi-employee","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v27.2 (Yoast SEO v27.3) -
