She works at the <a href=\"https:\/\/newws.leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/hbi-competence\/research-group-media-research-methods-lab\/\">Media Research Methods Lab<\/a> as part of the collaborative project \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/newws.leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/hbi-projects\/podcasts-actors-content-and-misinformation\/\">Systematic Observation of New Auditive Risks<\/a>\u201d (SONAR), which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space (BMFTR).<\/p>\n<p>Katharina completed an apprenticeship a specialist in media and information management (library specialization) at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) in Bonn and participated in the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) for Young Professionals.<\/p>\n<p>She subsequently pursued a bachelor&#8217;s degree in Information Management at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hannover and a master&#8217;s degree in Computational Linguistics at the University of Stuttgart. During her master&#8217;s studies, she developed a particular interest in working with topics related to the social sciences. She wrote her master&#8217;s thesis on the analysis of gender-inclusive language usage on the English-language version of wikiHow.com.
