This year&#8217;s festival for the digital society is themed \u201cGeneration XYZ\u201d. The event will be held in German.<\/p>\n<p>Once again, several HBI researchers will be at the venue and present their research.<\/p>\n<p>In his presentation titled &#8220;<span lang=\"de\">Jenseits der Wut-Maschine<\/span>&#8221; [Beyond the Rage Machine], <a href=\"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/employee\/jan-rau\/\">Jan Rau<\/a> will talk about how digital platforms can promote democratic discourse. The presentation will shed light on the space of opportunity coming into being through the Digital Services Act to make the digital public more democratic.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/re-publica.com\/de\/session\/jenseits-der-wut-maschine-wie-digitale-plattformen-demokratischen-diskurs-foerdern-koennen\">To the session<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/employee\/wiebke-loosen\/\">Prof. Dr. Wiebke Loosen<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/employee\/anna-von-garmissen\/\">Anna von Garmissen<\/a> will give a presentation titled &#8220;<span lang=\"de\">Influencer*innen, Content Creators, Gr\u00fcnder*innen: Ist das (noch) Journalismus?<\/span>&#8221; [Influencers, Content Creators, Founders: Is That (Still) Journalism?] in which they will share the findings of the largest survey to date of peripheral media actors in German-speaking countries and provide answers to the question: What makes media professionals on the fringes of the journalism tick?<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/re-publica.com\/de\/session\/influencerinnen-content-creators-gruenderinnen-ist-das-noch-journalismus\">To the session<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/employee\/matthias-c-kettemann\/\">Prof. Dr. Matthias Kettemann<\/a> will talk in his presentation &#8220;<span lang=\"de\">Mit Ethik in die<\/span> Quantum Futures&#8221; [With Ethics into Quantum Futures] about how we regulate quantum technology and what ethical guidelines we can set.
