The talk will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., on the topic of &#8220;Between Usage Reality, Youth Protection, and Children&#8217;s Rights: Why Differentiated Usage Concepts Are Needed Instead of Blanket Debates on Prohibition.&#8221;<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fsm.de\/event\/kuechentalk14\/\">Register for the event at the venue.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Public debates about age limits for social media use and smartphone use in schools are highly emotional topics. There are often calls for blanket bans. However, young people need more than symbolic politics. On the one hand, there is a need for viable concepts that enable providers, politicians, parents, and educational professionals to fulfill their shared responsibility of accompanying, protecting, and empowering children and young people online.
