Once again, several HBI researchers will be there to present their research. All presentations will be in English.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/employee\/eva-luise-knor\/\">Eva-Luise Knor<\/a> will give a presentation on &#8220;Imaginaries of Error: Exploring the Sensemaking of Generative AI Failures among German Lay Users.\u201c The presentation will take place on October 16, 2025, as part of the \u201dAI Boundaries&#8221; session from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Brazilian time).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conftool.org\/aoir2025\/index.php?page=browseSessions&amp;form_session=527#paperID447\">More information<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/employee\/wiebke-loosen\/\">Prof. Dr. Wiebke Loosen<\/a> will give a presentation with Prof. Dr. Andreas Hepp (ZeMKi, University of Bremen) on the topic \u201cWhy the Future of Journalism Is Not a Technological Rupture: On the Imagination of the Societal Needs of Public Communication and Innovation in Pioneer Journalism.\u201d This presentation will take place on October 18 as part of the \u201cJournalism and Data\u201d session from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Brazilian time).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conftool.org\/aoir2025\/index.php?page=browseSessions&amp;form_session=588#paperID781\">More information<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/employee\/philipp-kessling\/\">Philipp Kessling<\/a> will participate in the panel, &#8220;Social Media in Elections: Evidence from the United States, Germany, and Australia,&#8221; where he will present findings from a study of political campaigners&#8217; strategies for using TikTok in Germany&#8217;s 2025 federal election campaign.
