In Germany, it is coordinated by the EU initiative klicksafe. The theme for SID 2026 is &#8220;AI and Me. Artificial Relationships.&#8221; Generative AI bots have long been part of our digital lives, whether as chatbots on social media or special companion apps, such as Character.AI. These bots explain, offer advice in difficult situations, and provide emotional support. But what influence do such AI companions have on our interpersonal relationships and communication? What opportunities and risks arise when people develop bonds with AI companions? klicksafe will address these questions with the theme &#8220;AI and Me.
