{"id":7564,"date":"2026-02-13T16:46:25","date_gmt":"2026-02-13T15:46:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/?post_type=hbi-events&#038;p=7564"},"modified":"2026-02-20T18:13:52","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T17:13:52","slug":"7564","status":"publish","type":"hbi-events","link":"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/hbi-events\/7564\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The DSA Observatory at the University of Amsterdam is hosting its second international conference on \u201cThe DSA and the Regulation of Platforms.\u201d The HBI will be represented by contributions from <a href=\"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/employee\/wolfgang-schulz-2\/\">Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schulz<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/employee\/matthias-c-kettemann\/\">Prof. Dr. Matthias Kettemann<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/employee\/katharina-mosene\/\">Katharina Mosene<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/employee\/tobias-mast\/\">Dr. Tobias Mast<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/employee\/jan-rau\/\">Jan Rau<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/leibniz-hbi.de\/en\/employee\/jan-ole-harfst\/\">Jan-Ole Harfst<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dsa-observatory.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/2026-Programme_The-DSA-and-Platform-Regulation-Conference_06.02.2026.pdf\">To the program<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>About the Conference<\/h2>\n<p>As the Digital Services Act (DSA) approaches its second anniversary of full applicability across the EU, the DSA Observatory at the University of Amsterdam will host its second international conference on\u00a0\u2018The DSA and Platform Regulation\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>This two-day event will reflect on the DSA and European platform regulation, including in its broader legal and political context, under the overall theme of platform governance and democracy.<\/p>\n<p>The conference brings together speakers from academia, civil society, regulators, industry, and legal practice. It features 100 papers, which selected authors will present across five breakout sessions, as well as a poster session on the DSA\u2019s risk-based approach.
