On 31 May 2024, the Leibniz Institute for Media Research was awarded the “audit berufundfamilie<\/span>” certificate, the quality seal for a \u201cfamily and life-phase-conscious personnel policy”.<\/p>\n

The Leibniz Institute for Media Research wants to ensure the best possible work-family balance for all employees. However, other individual phases of life should also be considered in the personnel policy. After all, it is not only families with children, but also family caregivers who have to balance care and work.<\/p>\n

After completing an auditing and dialog process, the Institute’s family-friendliness has now been confirmed by the board of trustees of berufundfamilie<\/span> Service GmbH<\/a> with the “audit berufundfamilie<\/span>” [audit workandfamily] certificate. The certificate is regarded as a seal of quality for the sustainable design of a strategic family and life-phase-conscious personnel policy and family-friendly working conditions. The Leibniz Institute for Media Research is now entitled to carry this certificate for three years.<\/p>\n

Sustainable Measures for Compatibility of Family and Career<\/h2>\n

Flexible working hours, a flexible place of work, a wide range of opportunities for professional training and personal development, as well as a good work-life balance are already anchored in the family-friendly working structures of the Leibniz Institute for Media Research.<\/p>\n
