It looks, among other things, at actors, organisations and institutions, as well as at news, how it is produced and how it is used. The volume reflects the thematic, theoretical and methodological diversity of research.<\/p>\n<p>Written by acknowledged experts in their respective fields, each chapter outlines the state of research in a core area of journalism research, provides a critical classification and identifies aspects for future research.
