Jonas Rieger worked from 2022 to 2024 in the project “Few-Shot Learning for Automated Content Analysis in Communication Science (FLACA)” under the direction of Dr. Gregor Wiedemann at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans-Bredow-Institut (HBI).
He studied and received his doctorate in Statistics at the TU Dortmund University (Prof. Carsten Jentsch & Prof. Jörg Rahnenführer). His methodological contributions regarding the latent Dirichlet allocation are summarized in his dissertation “Reliability Evaluation and an Update Algorithm for the Latent Dirichlet Allocation“.
After finishing his doctorate, he worked as a postdoc in the project “German-Austrian Digital Media Observatory (GADMO)” at the TU Dortmund University in addition to his position at the HBI.
