Who makes the BredowCast?
BredowCast is the podcast of the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans-Bredow-Institut. Once a month, host Kristina Kobrow discusses current topics with researchers from the perspectives of communication studies and media law. Kristina takes listeners on a journey through the institute. She brings researchers to the microphone, asking questions she finds intriguing or that our listeners have sent in.
The idea for this podcast came from Daniela Friedrich. Together with Jan-Hinrik Schmidt, Christiane Matzen, Stephan Dreyer, and Nele Heise, she launched the BredowCast in 2014 and oversaw it for nearly three years. Johanna Sebauer then served as the host of the BredowCast until 2024.
