What Is Missing without Public Broadcasting?

What would the abolition of public broadcasting mean for the media system and for society? Anna von Garmissen will discuss this topic at the opening event of the “Media for People” series at the Academy for Political Education in Tutzing.

The event will begin with a keynote speech by Bartosz Dudek, head of the Polish editorial team at Deutsche Welle, on the development of public broadcasting in Poland. This will be followed by a discussion with Anna von Garmissen, Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger, former Federal Minister of Justice, Lennart Laude from Verfassungsblog and journalist Salvan Joachim from Bavarian Broadcasting (BR).
