The Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) invites you to a series of learning calls on the impact of the Digital Services Act (DSA) on the future of global digital policy. This event is presented in collaboration with the HBI and the DSA Observatory, and with support from the Network of Centers (NoC). The central question is whether the DSA is a global censorship law or the necessary foundation for rights-based content moderation.
In the first session, Prof. Dr. Matthias Kettemann and Josephine Ballon of HateAid will discuss transatlantic tensions surrounding the DSA and its political implications for diplomatic relations, as well as for the work of DSA experts and human rights defenders.
