As part of the Digital Media Theme Days, Dr. Lisa Merten will give a presentation on “Heroes, Troublemakers, and Engaged Citizens: The Impact of Reporting on the Climate Crisis.”

The “Climate Change in Communication: How We Talk When Things Get Serious” event series will take place from April 22–24 at the Carl von Ossietzky Forum of the Hamburg State and University Library.

The presentation “Helden, Störenfriede und engagierte Bürger*innen: Die Wirkungen der Berichterstattung über die Klimakrise“ [Heroes, Troublemakers, and Engaged Citizens: The Impact of Reporting on the Climate Crisis] as well as the event “Klimawandel der Kommunikation – Wie wir reden, wenn es ernst wird” [Climate Change in Communication: How We Talk When Things Get Serious] will be held in German.

The Digital Media Theme Days were launched in 2012 by the Institute for Arts and Media Management at the University of Music and Theatre Hamburg. This year, the Digital Media Theme Days are partnering with the Hamburg State and University Library.
