How can European standards and national experiences in youth media protection be meaningfully combined? Where are common rules necessary, and how can effective structures be incorporated into a sustainable framework for youth media protection? Dr. Stephan Dreyer will address these questions during the panel discussion on Protection of Minors “Made in Europe”? Between Harmonization and National Responsibility at this year’s gamescom.congress. The discussion will also cover the impact of the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the Digital Fairness Act (DFA) on existing youth media protection structures.
The following experts will also participate in the panel:
- Elisabeth Secker, Executive Director of the USK
- Svenja Hahn, Member of the European Parliament (FDP/RENEW EUROPE)
- Sebastian Gutknecht, Director of the Federal Agency for Child and Youth Protection in the Media (BzKJ)
Moderator: Dr. Anna Grebe
