Anja Herzog

Back Office and Editorial Team of M&K

Anja Herzog has been responsible for cross-disciplinary research organization and project acquisition as part of a back-office position at the Directorate since April 2007. She also works on the editorial team of “Medien & Kommunikationswissenschaft” [Media & Communication Studies] and on the development of a concept for an online platform on media systems worldwide based on the International Media Handbook.

Anja Herzog studied Slavic Studies and History at Universität Hamburg and Journalism at the University of St. Petersburg. During her studies, she already worked on various projects of the Institue, such as the Hans-Bredow-Institut’s International Media Handbook. Afterwards she participated in furher projects at the HBI.
