Christoph Rambow has been Head of IT at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans-Bredow-Institut (HBI) since May 2023.
Before joining our institute, he supported numerous national and international SMEs and corporations from various industries as an independent contractor in the positions IT manager, IT project manager, IT architect and IT consultant in the key areas IT organistion and IT management, IT controlling, project management, IT and cloud strategies, IT security (including KRITIS und MaRisk), IT outsourcing and IT bid and tender management.
Previously, he worked for various SMEs and corporations, including an IT service provider for the private and public sector, as manager, management consultant, project manager, software developer and expert for IT infrastructure and IT purchasing.
Christoph Rambow startet his business career with an executive trainee position in corporate retailing in the area of business organization and was employed as administrative manager in a retail branch after his graduation.
He earned his degree in Business Informatics (BSc) at the University of Applied Sciences Nordostniedersachsen in Lüneburg and offers extensive knowledge and experience in the management of IT areas, in project management of larger digitization and IT projects as well as in the development and modernization of corporate and IT management structures and IT architecture.
