The conference “Influencers: Influence, Power, and the Public in the Digital Age II,” hosted by the Evangelische Akademie Loccum, will take place from August 18 to 20. The conference will examine the role of influencers, their potential influence, and their power in society. In addition to the social dimension, the conference will reflect on our relationships with our everyday companions and the psychological and social risks of being an influencer.

Dr. Leonie Alatassi will lead a workshop on August 19 on the topic “Wer beeinflusst mich? Eine Vermessung der eigenen Meinungsbildung auf Social Media” [Who Influences Me? Measuring Your Own Opinion Formation on Social Media].

The conference “Influencer:innen. Einfluss, Macht und Öffentlichkeit im digitalen Zeitalter II” [Influencers: Influence, Power, and the Public in the Digital Age II] will be held in German. The detailed program is available on the event page.

The three-day conference at the Protestant Academy Loccum is aimed at secondary school students. The regular conference fee is €105.
