Christiane Matzen, M.A., is serving as the acting head of Program Area 3, “Science Communication, Agile Formats, and Library Services,” at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans-Bredow-Institut (HBI).
Her responsibilities include establishing the structures for Program Area 3. She is responsible for the editorial management of all the institute’s publications, particularly the journal Medien & Kommunikationswissenschaft (Media & Communication Studies), as well as various series and other publications. Additionally, she is responsible for the institute’s online and social media presence, events, and press and public relations.
