Third-Party Funds Management

Peter Petersen has been responsible for third-party funding management at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans-Bredow-Institut (HBI) since the beginning of 2024.

As a trained banker, he gained his first professional experience in the banking sector at HSH Nordbank AG and Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall AG, among others, before deciding to change his career path in 2012.

Working at Geomar in Kiel, the Kiel University of Applied Sciences and the Investment and Development Bank in Hamburg, he gained a wide range of experience in the field of third-party funding management, both on the donor and recipient side.
