Labeling of Edited (Influencer) Photos

  • Date: 12.11.24
  • Location: Berlin
  • Time: 18:00 h

Must, should, or may digitally edited photos be labelled as such in social media? This question is the focus of an expert opinion presented by Dr. Stephan Dreyer and discussed with Eva-Maria Sommer, Director of the Media Authority Hamburg/Schleswig Holstein, at the KJM in Dialogue 2024 event. The opinion, commissioned by the Commission for the Protection of Minors in the Media (KJM), examined the necessity of a legal labelling requirement for edited photos and videos in social media.
