Dr. Stephan Dreyer will give a presentation at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg on the topic, “Social Media Bans for Children and Young People: The Key to Happiness for Stressed-Out Parents or a Path Toward the Unacceptable Surveillance of Children and Young People?” He will examine the legal challenges of a potential social media ban and analyze current discussions from the perspectives of youth and data protection. There will be an opportunity for discussion afterward.
