Digitaler Salon: Vom Fließband zur KI

In the next edition of the Digital Salon, host Katja Weber interviews HIIG scientist Dr. Georg von Richthofen. As a senior researcher, he investigates the use of artificial intelligence in knowledge work within the project „Artificial Intelligence & Knowledge Work“.

About the event

In addition to the opportunities and risks of AI, various options for socially acceptable AI at work will also be discussed with the guests. After all, AI is increasingly being used at work and is triggering both enthusiasm and unease here. It can, for example, help filter hate comments on online platforms or assist companies in reviewing job application documents. In what other areas of work and with what goals is AI already being used today? And how will it change our everyday working lives? Is it about relieving people or replacing them directly? And how do employees view the use of AI?

When: Wednesday, 28.04.2021 | 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

From 7 p.m. the talk will be broadcasted live on hiig.de. Then join in – via Twitter or Slido using #DigSal. Digitaler Salon takes place every last Wednesday of the month under a different question. Records of past events and more information can be found here. T.he Digital Salon is hosted by the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society.
