Fram November 2022 to February 2023, Magdalena H. Góralska has been a guest researcher at HBI’s
Media Research Methods Lab, where she studies media and social media discourses on Lyme disease and tick-borne diseases.
Magdalena is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Warsaw, researching how digital communication influences medical controversies, creating what she calls digitally induced distrust. She also studies populism and traditional authority crises in Central and Eastern Europe, as a part of the
POPREBEL project based at the University College London.
A graduate of Oxford Internet Institute, she specializes in
the ethnographic study of the digital.
